Bratca village is situated in the depression formed by the interflow of Crisu Repede River and its effluents. The deciduous trees and the coniferous forests in the surroundings provide the tourists with an unpolluted, dustless, strongly ionized, and specific to the intra-mountains depressions, untouched by the pollution rod. Summers are chilly and umbrageous, specific to the sub alpine climate whereas winters are frosty and nippy, ideal for sledging and skiing. There are plenty of potable springs on the neibourhood hills. The forest exploitation roads are well suited for the practise of mountain bike, as numerous tourist paths are well suited for the practitioners of this sport.
